An image of a man being sought by police has been released after a spate of vandalism and arson on Du Cane Road in recent months.

They are investigating a number of incidents in May and September of this year in which a man set fire to a car, someone’s front door and caused criminal damage to people’s property. The tyres of a car were also slashed.

The man is also believed to carry a large rambo style knife in a sheath, which he used to damage the door.

PC Manojh Sivagnanasangar, who is leading the investigation, said, “We would like to speak to this man in connection with a series of criminal activities in Du Cane Road, W12.

“Whilst nobody has been physically injured in these attacks, the victims have understandably been left very shaken as they have been targeted in their homes.

"We believe this man may be known within the community and we are keen to hear from anyone who can help to identify him.

"If you know this man or can provide any information that will help the investigation, I urge you to contact police on 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CRIS 6025129/23.

"Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity, Crimestoppers, and provide information anonymously on 0800 555 111 or crimestoppers-uk.org."
