A person has died after being hit by train at Acton Main Line Station.

The police were called at 7.22pm on Friday 28 February following reports of a casualty.

Paramedics also attended and a person - gender has not been revealed - was pronounced dead at the scene.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said said: ""The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
