Chiswick School Gets a Dose of Ant & Dec

Geordie duo visits St Mary's R.C. Primary

It appears that Chiswick residents Ant & Dec are never far away from www.chiswickw4.com's headlines this week.

ITV's double act certainly received top billing when they visited St Mary's R.C. Primary School to film for their prime time TV show "Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Take Away".

According to an inside source, the children behaved impeccably throughout Tuesday's filming session which is more than could be said for certain members of the star struck staff!

Ant and Dec were having a memory competition in which they had to memorise 5 facts about 20 of the children including things such as their date of birth and embarrassing things their parents did.

Children from St Mary's Year 2 traveled with their families to the studio for the live show which was aired on ITV this Saturday evening.   They shared the limelight with Stereophonics, Coronation Street's Bradley Walsh who fell victim to an elaborate hoax, and Kirsty Gallacher. Chef Antony Worrall Thompson played Human Pinball live in the studio and a member of the studio audience walked off with the products featured in a commercial break.
