Chiswick Man Convicted of Stealing Laser Hair Removal Machine

Member of salon staff locked up during robbery

A 40-year-old man from Chiswick has been found guilty of stealing a laser hair removal machine and accessories from a salon in Vauxhall.

Tyrone Waugh of Ravenscroft House entered the premises on St George’s Wharf at around midday on 2 August last year along with Harrpreet Kuar from Hounslow and Monica Pashias of Fulham.

During the theft a member of staff was locked up inside the store.

Kaur and Pashias were arrested on 14 August 2018; Waugh was arrested on 31 August 2018.

All three were charged with numerous offences on 20 November 2018.

Kuar was found guilty at Inner London Crown Court on Friday, 19 July of false imprisonment and possession of articles to commit fraud.

Pashias and Waugh had previously pleaded guilty to robbery.

All three are due to be sentenced on Thursday, 19 September.
