Levli's Bakery - W12 - Very sad to see such surly service

I just wanted to voice my concern about Laveli's on Askew road  - Great to see such a local success but do they have to employ brusque & surly staff.  I have always thought local business for local people and communities and champion this ideology, supporting local shopping every day. I bought 3 croissants and a loaf for £11.40. More fool you, my family said when I got home.The young lady who served me was so patronising it left me astounded. I never complain but decided to go back into the shop and speak to the manager who said he didn't need my custom and so I left pretty red faced and embarrassed I have to say - its a bread shop - but what a shame!  So that is the last time my family will venture out to support Laveli's and their overpriced cakes and bread. My husband is delighted. I imagine they really don't need my custom, but it is a shame to see such ridiculous behaviour and management on our local high street.

A couple of weeks ago, I had to ask for the manager for help with one of the staff who was not familiar with Trading Standards price  marking.  His response was brilliant!  I also suggested a way of reducing sliced bread queues...it is now being trialled.  Let's see if it works.  I love Laveli bread but prefer the coffee at Louche and what was Brackenbury's, now with a new owner, Kelly [Kiwi].
