There will be two new stations, one at Victoria Road/Old Oak Common Lane on the Rixhmond-WillesdenJunctionHighLevel-Stratford line and the other at Hythe Road on the Clapham Junction-WillesdenJunctionHighLevel-Stratford line. The latter will enable passengers to connect to HS2/Crossrail by a walkway of about 300m, perhaps more, perhaps less. The Southern swrvices won't use that station because they drop down to low level to continue towards Wembley Central, and on to Milton Keynes. There is no easy way (or even conceivable, given the manner the tracks run) of creating a station on the ClaphamJunction-WembleyCentral route. However for pasengers coming from NorthWest of Willesden Junction, the Secretary of State for Transport in August 2014 announced a study of a Crossrail spur running, as with most Crossrail trains from Paddington and the east through the new Old Oak Common Crossrail station forking off and joining the West Coast Main Line somewhere near Harlesden station, and going on to Hertfordshire. So those passengers will be OK in terms of accessing the HS2/Crossrail station. That then just leaves SouthWest Trains passengers. Some, coming from west of Richmond, will use Richmond line to Victoria Road/Old Oak Common Lane station. Those other users for whom Clapham Junction is the through routes will possible change at that station onto the Clapham Junction trains (to Willesden Junction High Level or Stratford) getting off at Hythe Road.
