Lisa Nandy - Former Shepherd's Bush Councillor

Amidst all the furore of the formation of Jeremy Corbyn's first Shadow Cabinet it may have been overlooked that former local Councillor Lisa Nandy has been made Shadow Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change. Many congratulations to her.

Lisa Nandy has been tipped to become the next leader of the Labour party. Have to confess not to having heard of her until now. That doesn't necessarily mean she wasn't effective - I know of at least one local councillor who does amazing work yet never gets much public acknowledgment (and who would be cross if I mentioned her name).
