QPR

Well done QPR fans for singing Stan Bowles name on Saturday's Legends celebration. As you know he isn't fully well these days and it really meant a lot to him, and the rest of us lesser Legends on the pitch. Brought tears to my eyes. Meeting 'Sir" Les Ferdinand beforehand I forecast we would win 3-0. We did! We threatened some of the Legends Dave Thomas,Gillie, Ron Abbott they might have to play after poor first half! Gordon Jago there too. Thanks QPR crowd and management for remembering a writer like me!

Michael, great to see you all last week. Brought back great memories of the 70s. As a teenager I was an avid collector of the programmes and still have them all filed away- I remember the Wale Report very well. We were one of few who had no ads in the prog and it's great to see the matchstick men on the cover again. Great that the club tracked you down as well as The Leach & Sexton families, so credit to them for that. All the Best. Dean
