Forrest bakery on Uxbridge Road

Does anyone know if this long-standing bakery is re-opening? The phone card seller, who sits outside, said it would after refurbishments. But it's been months and no small business could survive this long without revenue. I'm hoping that it will continue as a bakery, as I've been going there since I was a child. It would be a sad loss to the areaAny news on this you'd like to share?

AS far as I know there was a planning application to turn the whole thing into flats but that seems to have fallen by the wayside as it's now advertised as a shop to let

Not sure how to post an active URL!  From the LBHF portal it doesn't look like a refurbed bakery is part of the developments.
