Old Oak Common Overground Station
The item published on this site about the West London Orbital route plan raises more questions than it answers. Most importantly it was just last week that we were informed that the Old Oak Common Overground station was unlikely to ever be built because of funding constraints. Now TfL and Ealing Council are claiming progress on the orbital line plan but it would be completely pointless if there was no station at Old Oak Common and no link to Crossrail/HS2. This seems to be them just writing their Christmas card list rather than an actual plan as funding just isn't available for this project and isn't likely to be even if we don't wilfully crash our economy to leave the EU.
