Bit of an eyesore

Fancied a walk away from the shops this lunchtime so ventured around some of the back streets, think it was at the end of Bulwer Street that I could not believe my eyes.........who on earth agreed those flats be built there!  Just in case I have the wrong road they are covered in wooden slates with metallic balconies.........but they are so totally out of keeping with the other lovely little houses round there.

Colin, no.....it is in the area of Wood Lane and Uxbridge RoadLina........it won awards..........oh well........what do I know about architecture!

Carol, Bulwer Street, is that near East Acton Station, and Erconwald Street?

Isn't that the one which won all those awards? I agree it doesn't fit in, but I do think it looks quite smart! And maybe once all the rest of the new buildings are up, it will fit it in and the lovely little houses will be the odd ones out!
