Bob, please have a look at some of the comments on this subject under the heading "Is saying sorry not enough?"I really think people take this PC thing too far!I don't care what colour, race, origin, religion one is, I would just like residents to have some decent standards for goodness sake and not expect someone else to clean up their rubbish!Whether residents are born here or come to live in this (once) great country they should be taught respect for others and for their environment. Surely that is the very least they can do? After all if we went to live abroad we would be expected to abide bu the rules of that country.Over the years London has become a dumping ground, walk any street and one can find mattresses, broken furniture, TV sets - all sorts of junk. One of my neighbours, a black lady, approached someone who was in the process of dumping her rubbish on the pavement. When my neighbour asked her what she was doing the reply was, "We do it in my country". To whch my neighbour told her, "Well you are not in your country now you are in MY country!  It is most unfortunate that some people are quick to jump to conculusions about people being racist. My neighbour told me she can get away with saying something which I reaally could not.I think most of the white population are afraid to say anything which might be conscrued as racist nowadays. It really has gone too far with these politically correct idiots jumping on anyone who dares voice an opinion. You can be blue with purple spots for all I care just keep Britain tidy!
