Why all the police in Shepherd's Bush this evening? 16/7

I saw lots of police vans as I cycled through this evening - one parked on the green, at least one in a side street off the Uxbridge Road and generally loadsacops.Maybe it's an anti-drugs/guns/knives operation like they conducted in South Acton last week.Any ideas?

I suspect it was actually one of the knife crackdowns - there was one at Clapham Junction today - Acton Town and South Acton about ten days ago. It felt more like that than a regular late afternoon round the Bush.

Then they will have the added atraction of Westfield to play around in. What Planet were the 'Suits' on who thought of putting it there. BBC appear to have got it right, they are pulling out eventually, so it seems!

Just a regular night in the Bush, Sara. There are always quite a lot of police around, especially on the green.
