Fireworks at Ravenscourt Park

I know this will make me seem like a real cheapskate but we've already been to two displays this week and I didn't want to shell out for another one.Is there a good vantage point from which to watch the display outside the park?

It was pretty good watching it from outside the old Masonic Hospital, too.

Thanks for the info, Sara. I ended up watching fireworks on Saturday evening from the top of the steps at Westfield! I think it was the Ravenscourt Park display. Looked great from a distance!

I'm afraid you will have missed it by now - but anyhow you can't go into the Park Club for the display unless you are a member or with one and pay for a ticket. But the local people always find good places to go and it's easily visible from all around....mostly aerial fireworks.

Thanks for the info! Is the park club event also open to non-members, do you know? And how much? I haven't managed to see any proper fireworks yet this year apart from a deliquent setting off a firecracker outside the central line station the other night. Everybody had to run for cover!

The Park Club fireworks on East Acton Lane might be the best for a freebie. Even if you are not a member you are quite close to where the display is - it's usually better than the Ravenscourt Park one. It's on tonight at 7pm.

I think the actual bonfire is located in the middle of the park but would imagine if you stood somewhere near the old Masonic Hospital you should be able to see the fireworks quite well.Do remember though that a lot of the roads will have traffic restrictions......and if you do drive and manage to get a space for goodness sake check there are no hidden signs telling you certain bays are not in use.  I got stung last year even though I have a parking permit!
