I don't have much sympathy with their whingeing though - given they used to publish a noxious "yellow book" outing "Jews in the media" which was abusive, invaded my and others privacy and was appallingly inaccurate to boot.

Yes, I was also surprised about how few there are in this area. But I do think there's a lot of hypocrisy surrounding this: we think we're such a free country but people are increasingly not free to say - or even believe - what they want. The BNP's views may well be objectionable but I think the freedom principle should override that.

That's stunningly few given the demographic and density of population in Shepherd's Bush. I would find it rather re-assuring. We only have five in Acton and my Mum, in a Kingston-upon-Thames postcode, has none in her patch at all.
