Kensington High Street fights back

According to this evening's Standard, Ken High Street is to stop charging for parking at the weekend, to encourage potential shoppers to ditch Westfield and its pricy parking for the delights of Urban Outfitter etc round their way. I wonder if it will work.

Westfield has an offer of free parking in their car park  until March 13th after 6pm Mon - Fri....but generally they do charge, even the disabled for parking so the blue badge holders all park in the local streets. Residents not chuffed!
