Wormwood Scrubs pony club - stables

Have moved offices so am further down Wood Lane near the A40, am I right in thinking that the pony club used to have their stables under the A40?

I visited Wormwood Scrubs pony club 17 or so years ago at the location opposite North Pole Road and stroked a very elderly and placid pony. I think the club operated on shoe string - horses are not cheap to maintain. There have been 'travellers' under the A40 for 30-40 years at least on a joint RBK&C an LBH&F site, or one which purports to meet the statutory requirement. Historically there have long been equine connections with that part of North Kensington going back to the 19th century and earlier, but I have no clue as to whether the pony club or anyone else has stables there. How does the Royal Horse Artillery - is that their name? - get to the Scrubs from St John's Wood? Do they have some more local stables?

Wormwood Scrubs riding stables are just off the road that goes up the east side of the Scrubs near the junction with North Pole Road.  There is also a riding stables at the bottom of Latimer Road - called Latimer Riding Stables funnily enough!

Oh maybe it is there then, for some reason I thought they were nearer to Wood Lane but could be wrong.

There's some sort of pony/horse club under the flyover at Latimer road tube station but I'm not sure if that's the same thing?
