CUTTING DOWN OUR TREES

It seems from the plans now on the table that 13 trees are to be felled, one of which is the lovely Chestnut at the SW corner and one of the big limes along the South stretch among others. And why do we need another Caff? It does seem a shame to fell established trees, unless of course they are a danger.  Regarding the cafe.........I agree that there are more than enough around the green but I do think it would be a good idea to actually have one on the green, just so long as it does not sell alcohol!
