as ive said before ... please let this dreary site die .. before it kills us all with boredom ... long drawn our blogs .. 5 people on line at any time ...no major issues that are not covered by the more fun and alive sites of ham&ful and chiswick.. ... check em out folks #

No, I had a day in Dover on Saturday (trying to see if Europe was still there, but too much fog-like haze) and went on a charity walk on Sunday. Sponsors gratefully received even though I have passed my target (given I only registered for the walk last Tuesday, not a bad result - I got around the 10km - 8 miles in real money - in 1 hour 50 minutes, which is over 4 mph - considering I had 3 operations on my aorta last summer, together lasting 13 hours):-http://www.walkforlife.co.uk/public_individual_sponsorship.php?ID=2332.My laptop seems to have croaked but I shall survive (cue Gloria Gaynor). I quite like it here, sort of peaceful...and it now has the (hidden away) totter thread which is great.I've given up Chiswick - too stressing and time-consuming and I rather like to potter on over here now and again.It's much more vibrant than it was six months ago and there is no reason it won't grow - like Acton has recently.Go and play with the other children (or yourself) if you can't play nicely with us, Bob.
