Painted Lady butterflies at Westfield

I have a photo I took lunchtime of some beautiful butterflies, think have identified them as Painted Ladies,  that were on plants along the pavement as you walk to the car park entrance at Westfield.  I would like to share this pic but I don't know how to post it, anybody be happy for me to send it to them if they know how to do it?

There's an irony that Richard's advice post suggests trying this out on the Wandsworth test site. LBHF uses a Western Riverside Waste Authority site in LBW to dump its rubbish that goes downriver for landfill, so we are now dumping electronic garbage in Wandsworth too!The butterfly picture fills my screen - a very fine picture. I wouldn't myself have recognised a Painted Lady (no sniggering in the back row), even with a butterfly book. As children we saw many more butterflies, admittedly mostly when on holiday near the Sussex Downs.

Me neither but it would be great to see. Westfield seems to intent on attracting moths and butterflieshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_8WNdVw2esMaybe this is what you saw???And maybe this is why they want to light up the roof top priphery, much to the objestsion of residents. Not very green, much light pollution and waste of energy.I did have green finches in my garden for the first time in my memory, but they have gone. I now have rats!

Well I was amazed to see so many, must have been at least 20 all feeding off the small white flowers, as I say if somebody can tell me how to post a pic..............

I have a clump of nettles and a huge buddliea - both of which are supposed to encourage butterflies but have seen hardly any this year.
