World AIDS Day Quiz Night raises funds for Terrence Higgins Trust
On Tuesday December 1, World AIDS Day, a quiz night is being held in Ladbroke Grove to raise money for sexual health charity Terrence Higgins Trust. The event is being held at Lighthouse West London on Lancaster Road and will kick off at 5.30pm. The quiz will include various rounds including general knowledge, true or false, the written word and picture rounds. A maximum of eight people will be allowed in each team. Although this is primarily a fun night out and a fundraising event, there is a prize of a case of wine for the winning team. Phillipe Bruyer, the event organiser said “If you’re looking for a way to support Terrence Higgins Trust on World AIDS Day, why not come along to the quiz with some friends? Test your brain cells, have a laugh and raise vital funds to help people living with or affected by HIV.” Tickets must be bought in advance and are being sold for a minimum donation of £5. A cash bar will be open on the night and mezze to share is included in the ticket price. Lighthouse West London is at 111- 117 Lancaster Road, W11 1QT.
