Drivers ignoring road signs

Amazing how many drivers ignore road signs.  Last night walked up Goldhawk Road to SevenStars corner........clearly marked at the junction with Conningham Road that part of Goldhawk Road is closed, but soo many cars obviously felt it was not to be taken seriously and continued to drive towards Seven Stars until they realised could go no further and then had to turn round.Same goes for the Tesco carpark at Brook Green, arrows marked on road saying which way to go round the carpark but this gets ignored, lost count number of times I have been faced with a car coming towards me that has come in the wrong way!

That, and turning into macfarlane road (no entry)off Wood Lane then down Hopgood street (no entry) to Uxbridge Road, both one way, and so they avoid the one mile detour all the way around the Green and the southern roundabout just to end up back at Uxbridge Rd to go west. It is highly dangerous....but can save you 20 minutes in bad traffic.... or more when Westfield closes the car park because it is full causing gridlock.

I know exactly where you are referring to re the Uxbridge Road/Wood Lane junction.  The police would have a field day if they stood by the newsagents in Wood Lane waiting to nab drivers ignoring the no left turn!

People ignore one way signs all the time. Hopgood Street off Uxbridge Rd is a prime example and the cars that turn off Uxbridge Rd into Wood Lane at the Green at the lights where there is a no left turn is staggering. The light are green for pedestrians then and the cars honk and swear at the pedestrians!
