Tooth Whitening

Any one tried these tooth whitening 'booths' that seem to be cropping up in all sorts of unexpected places? Seems odd that there seems no need for a place for the clinicians to wash their hands!

The General Dental Council’s Statement on Tooth Whitening:Under the Dentists Act 1984, the practice of dentistry can only be legally undertaken by GDC registrants: dentists, or hygienist or therapists working to a dentist’s prescription. The GDC regards tooth whitening as the practice of dentistry.This is a controversial area!

There is one in Westfield on the lower level which you can look down onto from the upper level.........you have a very good view of people with their mouths open.....how lovely.  And are these pop up centres actually properly trained in doing such a procedure.......I have heard that in some instances people have developed extremely sensitive teeth after having this done.
