Parking near the green?

I'll be travelling to Shepherd's Bush this afternoon to visit Pizza Express in Rockley Road. I was wondering where is it possible to park around there at reasonable cost?"Reasonable cost" obviously rules out Westfield! I tried looking on Google maps, but all I can see is 'residents only' bays. I'd prefer not to have to walk far to reach Rockley Road.Thanks!

Hiwestfield parking charges:http://uk.westfield.com/london/getting-there/car-park-rates/ if you do street parking you need to make sure you get a ticket from the ticket machine, that will be cheaper (think it's 1.50 an hour, max 8 hours. charges are applicable between 9 - 5 and free before/after and weekend is free.regards

From memory metered parking in nearby streets is over £2.00 per hour. The car park at the W12 centre may be more expensive than Westfield but it is right on top of Pizza Express and the difference may be marginal. It would take you an extra 15 mins each way to get to and from the Westfield car park so the extra cost could be justified.

Westfield is cheaper than street parking in Shepherds Bush.  There is a car park in the West 12 centre, but that is also more expensive that Westfield.  if on street parking were cheaper, then residents would never be able to park near their houses.Public transport is your cheapest option ;)
