Five Arrested After Alleged Rape in Wandsworth Park

Teenage girl receiving support from officers after incident last Friday night

Five men, all aged in their late teens, have been arrested by detectives investigating an allegation of rape in Wandsworth Park.

A teenage girl says she was assaulted in the park at around 9.40pm on Friday 15 May. She is being supported by specialist officers.

A cordon was set up around Prospect Quay as forensic officers went over the scene. A dog unit was also called to help with the investigation

The arrested men have been released under investigation.
