Access Self Storage Run Christmas Toy Appeal

Asking local people for donations to boost The Children's Society

Access Self Storage are holding their annual Christmas Toy Appeal, in aid of The Children’s Society, and say that local residents and businesses in Hammersmith and Fulham are once again rising to the challenge.

The commpany is asking local people to donate new and unused games and toys by dropping them off at Access Self Storage branches across the area.

And says, Access Self Storage Hammersmith Store Manager, Ryan Gough: "We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of the public and local businesses. Thank you to Sainsbury’s in Hammersmith & Chiswick and to Tesco and Cineworld in Hammersmith for all their support.

" Last year was such a success as we had over 1,000 gifts donated and we are on our way to smashing that record this year."

Drop off points will be open at the following Access stores until December 7, when Santa will be collecting all the donations and delivering them to the local Children’s Society store:

Hammersmith: 184 Shepherds Bush Road, Hammersmith, London, W6 7NL (Tel 0845 279 8361)

Fulham: 21 Effie Road, Fulham Broadway, London, SW6 1EN (0845 279 8359)

Chelsea: 65–69 Lots Road, Chelsea, SW10 0RN (0845 055 2651)

The Children’s Society works with and supports some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people in the UK, who really need help, especially at Christmas.

Gifts that are donated will raise funds for often overlooked young people such as runaways and young carers, and provide support for families of young children who live in poverty.
