Chiswick & Bedford Park School (founded 1915) is well known for its creative flair, its friendly, nurturing atmosphere and outstanding examination results for boys at seven plus and girls at eleven plus.
The school has imaginative drama, dynamic art and vibrant music departments, with a wide range of sports and extracurricular activities. Enriching and challenging opportunities encourage independent thinkers. Enthusiastic and dedicated teachers motivate and inspire pupils, fostering a love of learning.
Our curriculum is broad and balanced going beyond the National Curriculum to challenge and inspire our pupils. Everyone is given the opportunity to experience a variety of sports. Pupils are taught to participate as part of a team.
In addition to the attainment of high standards pupils build personal qualities of confidence, self-reliance and respect for others in preparation for the challenges and opportunities of the modern world.

Our Headmistress Mrs Henrietta Adams (BA Hons, PGCE) takes over in September. She has been with the school for nine years latterly as Assistant Head. When asked about her experiences at the school, Henrietta said “I am delighted to be taking over the helm of such a wonderful school. CBPPS provides a unique village school environment where the children are encouraged to develop intellectual curiosity and achieve academic success within a nurturing atmosphere. We have recently experienced an unprecedented set of circumstances and I am immensely proud of the response of all the teachers and pupils. We were able to introduce extensive online learning and I am certain that the dynamic and creative approach will enable CBPPS to continue providing the very best education in the future.
