Transport Disruption over the Easter Weekend


Details of service changes on tubes and trams

If you are planning to travel during the Easter weekend, Friday 29 March – Monday 1 April, most of the network will be open with services running as normal but please check if any of the following works will affect you.

On Monday only, there is no service between Gloucester Road and Aldgate via Victoria as well as between Edgware Road and Hammersmith. This is to allow for testing of new trains and preparing for the installation of a new signalling system

District

On Monday only, there is no service between Earl’s Court and Aldgate East to allow for testing of new trains and preparing for the installation of a new signalling system

There is no service from Friday – Monday between Kennington and Camden Town via Bank and also between Camden Town and Edgware. This will enable TfL to make further progress with installing a new signalling system – part of a comprehensive improvement of the line.

The Waterloo & City line will run for longer on Friday, Saturday and Monday from 8am till 10pm and on Sunday from 10am till 8pm to provide an alternative route via the City.

On Sunday only, there is no service between Sandilands and New Addington to allow for rail replacement and other work to improve reliability.
