Amazing Exam Results for Local Dance School


100% Pass Rate continues for West London Dance Academy

Huge congratulations are due to the pupils of the West London Dance Academy who took their ballet and tap exams on 17 July 2010.  The examiner, Aruba Coghlan of the IDTA noted in her report that "all candidates were well prepared and of a high standard".  Following her previous visit to examine the school in 2007 she also noted that "it was very nice to see the school coming on so well in such a short time".

All 39 pupils who participated in the exam session passed their exams.  With a pass mark of 65%, 19 pupils (49%) achieved a honours standard of 85-100%, 13 pupils (33%) achieved a highly commended standard of 80-84% and 7 pupils (18%) achieved a commended standard of 75-79%.

The Fulham classes take place every Saturday morning in the Upper Hall at St John's Church in North End Road.

The schedule includes baby ballet, for children aged three and up, preparatory and primary ballets, boys' ballet for five to seven year-olds and musical theatre for children five and up.
