Victim of Alleged Assault on Piccadilly Line Train is Sought

Police seek woman who got on train at Northfields

Passengers on board a Piccadilly Lane train from Northfields to Hammersmith detained a man believed to have assaulted a woman.

The incident happened on Saturday, 31 January, between 11.30pm and midnight.

A man was seen to board the service between Northfields and Hammersmith, with a woman and had his arms around her as if they were a couple. They sat down and the man appeared to place his hand under her clothing.

PC Paul Franklin said: “I am really keen to trace the woman who was allegedly assaulted. If you were travelling on this train and witnessed this incident, please get in touch with BTP. Any information could prove vital to this investigation.”
