Shop Local On Small Business Saturday

Did you know £1 spent with a local supplier puts £1.76 back into the local economy?

Already a tradition in America, Small Business Saturday is being brought to Britain by the Federation of Small Businesses for the first time this Saturday 7th December – expected to be one of the busiest shopping days of the year.

The aim is to promote the benefits of shopping locally, strengthen local communities and help shops build up longer-term trade by attracting new customers.

People who buy one or more items in a local shop between now and closing time on Saturday will be entered into a prize draw if their register their details online at www.fsb.org.uk/london/keep-trade-local-challenge.
