Register to Vote by April 20

To make your voice heard in May 7 General Election

Hammersmith and Fulham Council is reminding residents that they must register to vote in the upcoming general election by April 20.

The election is set for May 7, when voters will go to the polls to elect members of Parliament for the two constituencies in our borough: Hammersmith and Chelsea & Fulham.

" Anyone not yet registered to vote should do so as soon as possible in order for them to be able to have their say on issues that affect their lives," says Jane West, Returning Officer for Hammersmith & Fulham.

" I’d urge Hammersmith & Fulham residents to spread the message among family and friends who may not have registered yet that it only takes a few minutes to complete the form online."

All Hammersmith & Fulham properties should have received a letter in February with details of who’s currently on the electoral register for that property.

Anyone living at the property, but whose name is not on the letter, should register to vote here.

Residents can find out more by visiting the council's Electoral Services pages or calling 020 8753 4466.
