Shepherd's Bush Man "Serious" after Fulham Broadway Fall


Police appeal for witnesses to accident to come forward

A 30 year-old man from Shepherd's Bush is seriously ill in St George's Hospital in Tooting after falling from the first floor of Fulham Broadway shopping centre.

Witnesses said the man had come out of Lloyd's Bar with friends in the early hours of Sunday morning and fell from the downward escalator.

Police have released a statement saying: " At 0.27am hours on January 22, police were called to reports of a 30 year old male who had fallen from the first floor of The Fulham Broadway Retail Centre and was unconscious.

" The London Ambulance Service were already on scene at the time of origin.

" At 0.51am the male arrived at St George’s Hospital by ambulance where he remains in a serious condition. His next of
kin have been informed."

Police are asking anyone who witnessed this incident to call 101 quoting the CAD number, 272.
