Have You Voted Yet in the 2013 Brilliant Business Awards?

Still time to nominate your favourite local firms before October 21 closing date

If you haven't taken part in the 2013 Brilliant Business Awards, now is the time to nominate your favourites before the closing date of Monday October 21.

All votes will automatically enter the H&F Brilliant Business Awards Draw to win a goodie bag of fantastic prizes, and the winner will also receive a VIP invitation to the Awards Ceremony on Thursday November 7 at Bush Hall in Shepherd's Bush.

As well as the nomination form the awards now have their own Facebook page.

Like last year's very successful awards, the council is asking residents, shoppers and workers to go online and nominate the best local businesses in a borough-wide competition.

Any business can be nominated from a bank to a barbers or a boutique to a bar.

As well as the prestige and publicity from winning an award in any one of five categories and the presentation of an awards trophy, businesses could also win a fantastic prize to the value of £500.

There are 10 nomination categories:

  • Favourite business
  • Best customer service
  • Best new business
  • Best business supporter of the community
  • Best business entrepreneur
  • Best creative business
  • Best food business
  • Best Fulham business
  • Best Hammersmith business
  • Best Shepherds Bush business

If you run a business in our borough, encourage your customers to vote for you to win.

And if you reckon you are a brilliant business why not tell the world? Promote the awards to your customers, in store, on line, via your database and social networks and ask them to vote for you. The more proactive you are, the greater the opportunity to outshine your competitors.

You can make nominations at  Brilliant Business Awards.

Or by emailing business-desk@lbhf.gov.uk or calling and leaving a message on 020 8753 5585.

You can also download a Brilliant Business Awards business pack and ‘Vote for Us’ poster at www.lbhf.gov.uk/businessawards.

Or email nicki.burgess@lbhf.gov.uk and ask for a hard copy pack to be sent in the post.

Last year, 43 businesses, ranging from dance studios to dog groomers and from computer specialists to our local credit untion were shortlisted for the awards. You will find a list of last year's winners here.
