King Street Goes Traffic Free Again for Christmas Market

Shop at more than 100 stalls and enjoy live entertainment on Saturday 1 December

King Street is going traffic free once again for the second Hammersmith Christmas Market on Saturday 1 December from 10am to 5.30pm.

The pedestrian-friendly King Street will host more than 100 seasonal food, drink and gift stalls alongside live music performances across the festive market and on the stage at Lyric Square.

Flier for Hammersmith Christmas Market

The line-up of street performers will include the Have a Banana One Man Band giving lessons in how to play spoons and use a banana as a musical instrument.

Not to mention, the Mistletoes Belles, seven-feet tall Robins, Mr Cool Snowman and the main man himself paying a visit to Hammersmith.

There will be live music and entertainment acts performing on the Lyric Square stage throughout the day plus four busking pods scattered across the market with everything from Christmas tunes to pop, soul, jazz, a cappella and trumpets on the bill.

The Hammersmith traffic free markets follow the success of seasonal traffic free events in Fulham's North End Road, which will be hosting its own Christmas Market on Saturday 15 December.

You can find out more about both at H&F Council's page on Markets.
