Serving four course meal on May 21 at Hammersmith campus' Taste Restaurant

Catering student Samson Ayoade is launching his own Pop-up restaurant in the Hammersmith campus of Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College on May 21.

Samson, a former chef at the Dorchester Hotel, will run his Pop-up at the college's Taste Restaurant from 6pm to 10pm.

Samson is currently is studying Level 3 Professional Cookery at the college. Before enrolling on his course, Samson worked full time for The Grill at The Dorchester but he decided to return to college to boost his skills and gain new experiences plus a qualification to further his career.

The highlight of Samson's career so far happened last year, when he was selected to cater at a Royal Polo event, with guests including Prince William, Prince Harry and Samuel L. Jackson.

" My aim for the future is to have a couple of restaurants," he says. " I've decided to do a Pop-up because they're really trendy at the moment and it's good to get exposure. I also really like that I get to cook my own food and not another chef's.

" I get feedback from the public about my cooking and my style of cooking."

He adds: "The College have been really supportive and helped in any way they can. They've given lots of good advice and offered me lots of resources."

The menu for the evening is decscribed as "a rustic yet elegant four course dinner":

1st Course: Spring Green Soup

2nd Course: Plaice & Asparagus

3rd Course: Lamb & Beetroot

4th Course: Dessert containing Rhubarb.

4 courses (£25)

Menu with wine pairing. (£35)
