Police Investigate Alleged Rape in Hammersmith Subway

Attack reported between Macbeth Street and Furnival Gardens

 

Police have confirmed they are investigating an alleged rape in a Hammersmith subway early on Sunday morning.

Officers from the specialist Sapphire Unit are investigating am alleged attack on a 21 year-old woman at around 12.30 am on Sunday, July 1.

The assault is believed to have taken place in the subway under the A4 at the end of Macbeth Street which leads to Furnival Gardens.

The victim was found by police in nearby Dalling Road.

Police sealed the road off until Monday afternoon.
