Appeal for Witnesses to Disorder Around Great Western Road


H&F Police say two were stabbed in fight among 20 people on 2 January


Officers say they were called at around 7.10pm on Thursday, 2 January to reports of around 20 people involved in a fight and associated disorder in the area of Great Western Road and Harrow Road, W9.

The incident continued down Great Western Road to the junction of Furmoy Road.

Two males - aged 16 and 23 - were found suffering stab injuries; both were taken to hospital for treatment before being discharged. They were subsequently arrested for their role in the disorder and charged with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon.

Detective Sergeant Christian Chilton of Hammersmith and Fulham Police said: "This incident would have caused fear and distress to the local community during what would have been a busy part of the day.

"I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident, or anyone who recorded the incident on mobile phone or dashcam, to contact police. Your information could help identify those responsible."
