A Muse of Fire Comes to Bishop's and Ravenscourt Parks

This year's fireworks displays commemorate William Shakespeare

The annual fireworks displays are back in Hammersmith and Fulham -and this year they are commemorating William Shakespeare.

More than 20,000 people are expected to attend Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s 'A muse of fire' shows at Bishop's Park on Friday 4 November, and Ravenscourt Park on Saturday 5 November.

The line "O for a muse of fire, that would ascend the brightest heaven of invention" is the opening prologue to the Bard's play Henry V. Now, 400 years after his death, the council is honouring his legacy with a spectacular fireworks display.

H&F Council says it has frozen prices once again, making these fireworks display one of the cheapest in London. Advance tickets are just £6 each – a 25% discount.

Book your tickets for Bishop's Park on November 4 here.

Book your tickets for Ravenscourt Park on November 5 here.

Advance booking closes at 4pm on 4 November for Bishops Park, and at 4pm on 5 November for Ravenscourt Park.

Pre-booked tickets must be picked up from the Lyric Theatre box office (or posted if you purchase early enough). There is no ticket collection point at the event gates.

The gates open at 6pm at both events and the children's fireworks will take place at 7.15 pm.

The celebrations will culminate with a fantastic firework display choreographed to music at 8.10 pm (approximately). The event finishes at 9.30 pm. There will also be a funfair and food stalls at the events.

Tickets are also available on the day at the gate for £8. Entry for children under five years-old is free.
