Could You Foster a Child?

Potential carers invited to Hammersmith Town Hall on October 1

Could you become a foster carer?

Three local boroughs, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, The London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and Westminster City Council joined their adoption and fostering services in April 2012 to provide a dedicated service for adoption and fostering.

You can find out more by going along one of the regular fostering information events where you will have the opportunity to find out more about fostering in person from a social worker and/or a foster care.

The event will include a powerpoint presentation and therefore it is important to arrive at the schedule time. You will also have the opportunity to raise any questions you have with a social worker or foster care at the event.

The next fostering infomation event is on Thursday October 1
from 10am - midday at Hammersmith Town Hall. To book a place at this event, you can register online or call either 0800 781 2332 or 020 8753 1057 for more information.

You can also visit H&F Council's fostering page and click on carers’ stories to read first-hand accounts about why they find it so rewarding.
