Police Have "Serious Concerns" about Welfare of Missing Deeqa

Teenager from North End Crescent has been missing Friday April 3

Police in Hammersmith and Fulham say they are increasingly concerned for a missing 19 year-old woman.

Deeqa Sharif Abdighani of Glenallan House, North End Crescent, W14, was last seen leaving her home at approximately 6pm on Friday, April 3.

Deeqa is a black Somali woman, 5ft 3ins tall and of medium build. She has black shoulder length hair; however this is usually covered with a head scarf.

She was last seen wearing blue/grey jeans, a green top and a black and white-spotted headscarf.

She is known to frequent the Hammersmith area and she attends Hammersmith College.

PC Emma Cliffin, from the Hammersmith and Fulham Missing Persons Unit, said: "Deeqa's sister reported her missing to police and has told us that it is out of character for her to just disappear without saying where she is going.

"Prior to her disappearance there were no concerns regarding her behaviour. She has not gone missing before. We do not know if she has access to money as her bank card was left behind.

" It has now been 13 days since Deeqa left her home and we have serious concerns for her welfare."

If you have seen Deeqa or know of her whereabouts please contact Hammersmith and Fulham Police on 020 8246 2815 or on 101.
