Hammersmith and Fulham residents are being advised to take note of revised rubbish and recycling collection dates over the Christmas period. A Christmas tree collection service will also be run throughout most of January.

Christmas and Boxing Day collections are among those to be changed, both of which will be pushed back two days later than normal. New Year’s Day will also see a new date, with pick-up moved to January 2. All collections will be back to their usual scheduling by January 8.

The council’s Christmas tree collection service meanwhile will be run between January 2 and January 22. To recycle your tree, simply leave it where you would put your rubbish before 7am on your regular collection day. It must be a real tree, and have all decorations and pots removed.
