A Lebanese restaurant which has won an army of loyal customers on Rainville Road over the last 30 years has been forced to close.

Mes Amis was a intimate and sometimes cramped place to eat but had an atmosphere of its own.

The Fulham Reach restaurant, run by Karim and Regina, served Middle Eastern food with European influences made in a small kitchen.

They said that the latest rent increase made the small business unsustainable at the premises by the junction with Crabtree Lane.

It is the latest of many of London’s long-established restaurants to shut since the end of the pandemic.

This site remains committed to providing local community news and public interest journalism.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.
