Can You Help StreetLink to Support Rough Sleepers?

Local organisation seeks volunteers who can spare at least one shift per fortnight

StreetLink, based at Market Lane off Goldhawk Road are looking for volunteers from the local area to help run their 24-hour phone line, process web referrals and talk to members of the public.

StreetLink is a telephone line and website available across England which enables the public to alert Local Authorities about rough sleepers in their area.

This service offers the public a means to act when they see someone sleeping rough and is the first step someone can take to ensure rough sleepers are connected to the local services and support available to them.

If you are passionate about helping rough sleepers and can commit to at least one shift per fortnight at the Shepherd's Bush centre, Streetlink would love to hear from you.

In return, you will be be provided with a full induction, training and ongoing support, as well as the opportunity to meet new people and gain new skills.

For more information, and to receive an application pack, email: volunteers@streetlink.org.uk.
