Hammersmith's annual Summer Festival is back and promising two months of fun in the sun based around Lyric Square.

The festival begins with Lyric in the Square, free performances taking place throughout June.

On 20 and 21 June at 11.45am and 1.30pm, hip hop theatre collective Far from the Norm presents Da Native, gathering nomads from sacred sanctuaries across the globe to a shared, dusty landscape.

On 26 to 28 June at 1.15pm and 5.30pm, watch Dance in the Square with dynamic and breath taking performances from the UK’s hottest choreographers, hand-picked by the team at DanceWest.

Moving into July, Lyric Square's Big Screen will offer a variety of free viewing. Watch sporting events during the day – including the ever-popular Wimbledon from 3 to 16 July – and opera and film nights in the evenings.

There will also be Fitness in the Square sessions, from free yoga with Lumi Power Yoga to free fitness sessions with Fitness First.

Hammersmith's Summer Festival also offers shoppers, residents and local workers the chance to take a break and snack and soak up the summer atmosphere at giant 20 foot long Picnic in the Square tables.
