Thames Water say damage to main caused by third party

Thames Water have shut off the water supply to areas of Shepherd's Bush on Thursday after a burst water main caused extensive flooding around Shepherd's Bush Green.

They have released a statement to local people in W12 and W3 on their Twitter Feed @ThamesWater saying: " Sorry to customers affected by a burst water pipe on Uxbridge Road in W12.

" Our team is working hard to reroute water around our network of pipes to get supplies back to normal as quickly as possible.

"We have a separate team working to fix the pipe.

"We believe the pipe was damaged by a third party and will be fully investigating what happened."
