Playday is Back at Ravenscourt Park

4,000 children set to enjoy free fun and games

Up to 4,000 children, parents, carers and play workers will descend on Ravenscourt Park on Wednesday August 3 for Hammersmith & Fulham’s annual Playday event.

This year’s free event will look and feel different to previous Playdays. For the first time ever, the council has teamed up with John Parnham Leisure who will be providing a selection of free inflatables and children's funfair rides throughout the course of the event which takes place from 12 noon to 4pm.

As has now become a tradition with Playday, the annual talent show which encourage children to perform will be on site, along with the CSI Steelpan Band.

Families can visit the stalls offering information on borough childcare, road safety, fitness and recycling as well as taking part in football coaching provided by Mini Football and basketball coaching from Let Me Play.

Following on from Playday, John Parnham Leisure will also be operating a family funfair from Wednesday August 3 to Sunday August 7.

For more details on Playday call the council's Events team on 0845 337 0314 or email events@lbhf.gov.uk.
