Overwhelming response caused safety fears
The job fair hosted by WhiteCity Works today (8th July) has had to be cancelled following an overwhelming response from job seekers.
The event at Novotel London West in Hammersmith had crowds of over 3,000 spilling out onto nearby roads.
Employers including Marks & Spencer, Debenhams and Boots were recruiting staff for Westfield London at the fair.
Police are asking anyone planning to attend not to come to the event.
