Air Ambulance Lands In Vicinity Of Acton Park


Major disruption to local traffic

An air ambulance was called to the scene of a local accident on Friday afternoon (May 21), leading to major traffic disruption in the surrounding area.

At just after 1pm, the emergency services were called to the junction of The Vale and Warple Way on the outskirts of Shepherd's Bush, following reports of a traffic accident.

The accident was reported to be a collision between a car and a motorbike.

The air ambulance was called and a fast response car also attended.

The crew treated a 46-year-old man who was taken as a priority to Charing Cross with abdominal injuries.

He was escorted by the doctor from the air ambulance.

Major traffic disruption was resported in the surrounding area, and particularly along East Acton Lane.
