Hear a talk by the UK Jewellery Designer of the Year on November 12

On Tuesday November 12, the Askew Business Network are hosting an evening with UK Jewellery Designer of the Year Sophie Harley at the Greyhound pub in Becklow Road.

Celebrated for her exquisitely designed handmade jewellery, Sophie Harley produces a range of unique contemporary pieces that have a cult following.

Sophie has extensive award winning jewellery collections and her clients include, Joss Stone, Jerry Hall, Judi Dench, Colin Firth, Kate Beckinsale and Naomi Campbell.

A special commission was the Algerian Loveknot for the James Bond films Casino Royale and The Quantum of Solace where this necklace plays an integral role in the story line. Come along and hear all about her fabulous designs. You can find out more by visiting Sophie’s website.

Doors open at 6pm. Sophie will talking to ABN member Caroline MacMillan between 6.45 and 7pm, and showing a film of her designs, followed by general networking.

Everyone living or working in the local area is welcome - just come along, buy a drink at the bar and join in the chat.

This month, the Askew Business Network will also hold their monthly Grab a Bite casual lunch on Tuesday November 26 at 12.30pm at the Duchess of Cambridge pub in Goldhawk Road.

Next month, the network are back at the Greyhound on December 10 for their popular Christmas mini market, celebrating local craftsmen and businesses.
